Toyota Etios and Liva diesel

Recently Toyota India has launched the petrol variant of its first hatchback named as Toyota Etios Liva. Now Toyota India is looking belligerent to launch the diesel variant of this hatchback and its sedan Toyota Etios. Now a days Toyota India is undergoing in the test phase of the diesel variants in Bangalore. As for features and looks the diesel variant of both the cars will fall heir the same as that of its petrol sibling. Both the diesel variant of Toyota is likely to come housed with a 1.4 liter turbo CRDI engine which will enhance their fuel economy. The Etios twins will offer a decent mileage of 21 Kmpl. Toyota India claims that company has done all the ground work of the diesel technology and is holding everything for the right time to launch the anticipated diesel variants of Etios twins.

The Japanese auto biggie Toyota had launched its sedan Toyota Etios last year in the month of December. The sedan manged to lure the Indian customers and received an overwhelming response in Indian car market. At present the diesels are car market is in great boom due to regular hike in petrol price. So in order to keep the tempo up all the major players are looking to roll out the diesel variants of their popular models. In this pipeline Toyota India is planning to launch new Toyota Etios diesel very soon in the Indian market.



Toyota India has recently made a debut in the hatchback segment with its most expensive car Toyota Etios Liva. But Toyota didn't manage to create the same charisma as it did with its sedan. The hatchback had not received the overwhelming response due to the lack of its diesel version. Now with the new Toyota Etios Liva Diesel company is all set to stronghold its growth in the Indian car market. In addition to this Honda India is also planning to launch another refreshed model in the market known as Honda Brio in the month of September.
