New Maruti Swift Available in India

The largest Auto Maker in the country Maruti India has announced that the new Maruti Swift will undergo complete transformation. The company is trying to make the car more fuel efficient so that it is liked by the Indian customers. The company has made changes ranging from its looks to the engine of the car. The company has mainly concentrated on the weight of the car, so that it becomes more fuel efficient. The elder sibling of this car was among the most popular hatchbacks in the country. The sales figures of this car was among the top sold hatchbacks in the country. The company has already stopped the production of the old Maruti Swift, as the company did not want to have different groups in the Swift hatchback.

The main transformation that this 2011 Swift has undergone is with its engine.The company has replaced the metal fuel tank with the plastic fuel tank, this was done to increase the mileage of the car. The weight of this car by this fuel tank has been reduced to about 30%, and the mileage is improved by 13%. This plastic fuel tank not only helps in increasing the mileage but also has other benefits like it is corrosion free, more sturdy, non explosive and most importantly it is recyclable. As claimed by ARAI the car will deliver a mileage of 17.9 kmpl in the petrol variant and 21 kmpl in the diesel variant. The size of the car has also been changed, the New Maruti Swift is a bit longer than the old one but shorter than Maruti Swift Dzire.

Its the first time in the last six years that the company has decided to have some transformation with Maruti Swift. Maruti Swift Launch is proposed early in the month of August, but there are possibilities of having some changes in the launch date. Maruti Swift price is not yet declared by the company. At present Maruti India has Maruti A-Star, Maruti Alto, Maruti Gypsy, Maruti Ritz, Maruti Swift Dzire, Maruti SX4, Maruti WagonR, Maruti Zen Estilo and Maruti Kizashi under its portfolio.

This new Ford Fiesta diesel is equipped with a 1.5 L TDCi engine that will be capable of delivering a power of 89.72 bhp and a maximum torque of 204 Nm. As claimed by ARAI the car will be capable of delivering a mileage of 23.4 kmpl. However the petrol variant will offer mileage of 17 kmpl. The features revealed by the new Ford Fiesta Pictures that earlier came in the market have proven to be correct and the car has somewhat same features and engine specifications. Force Motors is one of the major player in manufacturing light commercial vehicle in India. Now Ford India is planning to make an entry in the personal vehicle market with its sports utility vehicle named as Force One. Earlier Force One launch is expected to be scheduled by the end of July, but now it is assumed that Force India will deliver its first SUV Force One in the Indian market in the month of August. Force India also launch a new logo for the personal vehicle segment. As per the sources Force One is likely to be the best SUV in the segment as company is going to make its debut in the consumer car segment Force India is paying lots of efforts and doing research to make it comparable to Indian road condition.

The looks of new Force One are likely to be very aggressive and robust which would surely catch the eye of SUV car lovers. Apart from its sexy look the interiors of SUV is very much spacious and comfortable as enough leg space is provided in all the three rows. Also the new Force One features a dual-vents air-conditioning for all three rows, steering mounted audio controls and Multi-information display. Talking about the price of this SUV Force One, company has not unveiled it yet, but as per speculations this SUV Force One price will fall between the range of 8-10 lakh. Tata Safari and Mahindra Scorpio are the major rivals of the upcoming SUV Force One.
